House prices have fallen by 14.6% in the past year, according to the latest figures from Nationwide Building Society.

House prices slumped a record 14.6 percent in October from the equivalent level 12 months ago in the latest sign of the country's economic struggles, a survey by Nationwide bank showed on Thursday.
