2009 Resolution | Find The Best Mortgage For You

» Read the complete article

Just because it’s a new year doesn’t mean the media have stopped predicting the worst for mortgage borrowers up and down the country. The headlines are still grim and the outlook is still black – but this year your resolution should be to ignore the hype, throw the salacious mortgage stories in the bin and concentrate on the real task of finding the best mortgage for you.

Millions of people like you will have to find a new mortgage this year and they are all worried – if the stories are to be believed, there are no mortgages left. Or if there are mortgages left they are so expensive that no one can afford them.

Ignore the rubbish. There are mortgages out there, and for many people there are wholly affordable, good mortgages out there.
If you have a good credit score, equity in your home and have managed to keep all your finances ticking away there is no reason why you can’t get hold of a cracking deal. Talk to your financial adviser and let them tell you – you can still get hold of the very best mortgage for your situation in no time at all.

The media spent most of 2008 on the bandwagon, twisting and turning the facts to make sure they have painted the worst picture possible for the UK mortgage borrower – make sure you are not suckered into the 2009 headlines.

Just talk to your mortgage adviser and let them tell you the real facts. Let them look at your finances and your situation and let them find you the best 2009 mortgage.
