What’s the small print?

There’s no small print at all: we pride ourselves on being transparent. But here are the facts:

  1. If you use the solicitor we’ve agreed terms with, their fees will be paid by us, up to a purchase price of £350,000. If your purchase price is above this we will simply ask you to pay the difference. You’ll still be responsible for the other costs such as stamp duty, searches and other expenses.
  2. Once your mortgage is offered, we’ll put you in a draw to have your stamp duty costs refunded, up to a maximum of £5,000. All you need to do is pick 4 numbers…. and if these get drawn in the National Lottery the week after your mortgage is offered, your stamp duty is paid for. Further T’s and C’s can be found on our website, and we’ll make them clear to you when you start your mortgage application.

The Mortgage Broker Ltd (TMBL) will pay for  basic legal costs excluding disbursements for all property purchases up to the value of £300,000. All legal work to be completed by a nominated TMBL Solicitor. All purchase prices above this amount a contribution of £350 will be made towards the clients overall legal fees.

  • Broker fees will be payable upon offer and these will be our standard fees of between £495 – £895 subject to the loan size and complexity of the mortgage deal.
  • Upon mortgage offer, the client will have a chance to win their stamp duty being paid capped at a sum of £5000.
  • The Stamp Duty competition will run as follows:
  • The client upon mortgage application will be asked for 4 lottery numbers from 1 – 50
  • Once the mortgage offer has been issued and checked by TMBL, these 4 allocated numbers will be entered into TMBL’s ‘Stamp Duty Competition’ which correlates with the National Lottery drawn numbers – An e mail will be sent to the client to confirm which date the numbers chosen will correspond with The National Lottery.
  • If these 4 numbers are drawn / are matched on the stated date with the National Lottery numbers, the stamp Duty will be paid for, capped to £5000.
  • Other costs to be paid by the customer are as follows:
